REFLECTION

Experience
The word "Advanced" in this module means that it's tougher and more difficult, which means I should take this module seriously. Unfortunately, I took it for granted, especially the time. In the end, some of my work appear sloppy or unrefined due to it being rushed overnight. However, this doesn't mean that I'm not proud of all my work nor I hate coming to class every Wednesday. Moments like Mr. Vinod sharing his life experiences and the end result of each task are small bundles of joy in the midst of stress.

Observation
I noticed that I like to work on a slow pace. I like to sketch a few designs before digitalizing it, which is beneficial but it takes up time. Sometimes I wonder whether one digitize form of a glyph is better than pages of sketches because my classmates are able to keep up the pace every week, not just in Advanced Typography. But I pull myself back to reality and push myself to finish my work.

Findings
I found out that I sometimes lack initiative, only willing to work if someone is looking over my shoulder. Perhaps it's fear. But if the work becomes personal, such as Task 2, where I designed my name based on my favourite video game genre, it eliminates the lazy part of me.
