INSTRUCTIONS

Practical 1
Our first practical is to list down 3 of your favourite Motion Graphics works and explain why you like it the most.


Description: A motion graphic of an Adidas advert. The way that the newspaper rolls in an extreme close up shot before zooming out looks cool. It reminds me when a game reveals a new character. It also looks simple to replicate.


Description: A typographic trailer for Harley Quinn and the Joker. I like that they used several shots of items and hand drawn scribbles over the names to hint a story visually. It reminds me of briefings in Call of Duty games where they used motion graphics to deliver information for upcoming missions with blueprints and map overviews.

Description: A motion graphic of the manga Chainsaw Man. The first few seconds are my favourite. Accompanied with intense action music, the shot after shot of manga panels really capture my attention and it's something I want to imitate for my future project.

Practical 2
Our second practical has us creating a collage with the elements provided.

We then have to chose one to animate. I chose the first one.


I called it the end of a king.
