LECTURES
Week 3: Storytelling in Film
Story = What happened?
Plot = Why they happened? Any how?
Week 4: Mise En Scene
In French, it means putting on stage. It refers to what we see onscreen; its
visuals; meaning, all of the elements that appear on camera and their
arrangement.
Week 6: Colour Correction
RGB: The main purpose of the RGB color model is for the sensing,
representation, and display of images in electronic systems, such as
televisions and computers.
Before the electronic age, the RGB color model already had a solid theory
behind it, based in human perception of colors.
INSTRUCTIONS
This project requires us to dub a soundless video clip provided. We need to
edit in sound effects and voices. We are not allowed to use music for this

FEEDBACK
Week 4
General Feedback: One main thing in a story: The character wants this, but no.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Experience
Thanks to the recorded lecture, I was able to complete both exercises in Project 1. The only hassle is in Project 1A, where I have to sync my audio dub with the character's mouth. I couldn't merge them so I had sync them manually.
Observation
I noticed that my voice is too deep to sound like a girl. I tried pitching it up but it still doesn't sound right.
Findings
Aside from my low pitch voice, I realised that there is a lack of emotion or energy behind my audio dub. For example, when saying "Abort!", I could say it a bit louder to show panic.
